SortWerk vs Fyxer: a comparison with prices and features

The biggest difference: assistant or sorting machine
Fyxer wants to take over part of your work: it reads emails, suggests replies, summarises meetings. For that it needs a lot of context from your emails and calendar, and that comes at a price.
SortWerk only does the sorting. It reads the sender, subject and the short snippet Gmail itself shows, and applies your label. You write replies yourself. If you want to know which emails need an answer, turn on the reply labels.
When Fyxer fits better
- You write many similar replies and want drafts you only need to check.
- You want meeting notes and follow-up emails automatically.
- You use Outlook.
When SortWerk fits better
- You want emails sorted into your own folders, not preset categories.
- You want to keep costs low: Pro at SortWerk is 12 a month (6 during the test phase), not 49.
- You want as little of your emails as possible to reach a model.
- You want to see what happens before tidying up, and be able to undo everything.
To be honest
Fyxer can do much more than SortWerk. If reply drafts are the core for you, Fyxer is the right tool. SortWerk is young (version 0.6, Google's review is still under way) and focuses on one job.
